Have you ever asked yourself how the future of work will look like? Will automatization and artificial intelligence take over? What will be our contribution as humans? What aspects will stay and what will become relevant? Finding answers to these questions can feel a bit like looking into the cristal ball. But what if we don't have to invent a new way of being and working but can learn from each other and from professions that are usally not associated with our business world? Like learning from artists and reflecting with the help of music. At the 3rd of September 2019 from 18:00 to 20:30 at Berkeley Square in Amsterdam we'll have time to reflect upon these and related questions. To dive deep into how #thefutureofwork could look like and how the means of Reflection can help us to find answers, we'll use drawing, writing poetry, photographing and reflecting with the help of music. As a kind of mental preparation we invite you to think back of a time when art (as you saw it in a museum or when you created art yourself) helped you to gain a new perspective on your life and work. How did the immersion into art influence you in that moment? Program 17:30 opening of the venue, drinks and snacks 18:00 beginning with a short introduction round and sharing ideas on the question: How has immersion into art influenced us in a moment before? The following 2,5 hours we will i mmerse ourselves into an art experience and reflection: First part: a) doing & reflecting while engaging in drawing, photographing, writing poetry or b) observing & reflecting with the help of artbooks and/or music Second part with a partner who's art speaks to you: - sharing what we could see/feel/hear - co-creating a second piece of art or merging the two pieces of art from the first part of the atelier session Short break and time to see all the other objects of art Third part: coming together in the larger group and sharing our experiences. Exploring more deeply the answers to the question how art/creative processes/ and the (non-verbal) reflection can be part of the future of work. 20:30 closing of the atelier session.
